Youth Challenges - What is rape (2)

What is rape.  This is actually the part two of this article. Read part one here too understand fully

Most girls have attracted this unfortunate incidence to themselves through their acts of indecency and nudity. Where the carcass is- the vultures gather. They fly themselves in s!xually explicit forms and parade along the streets within odd places and at odd hours, displaying their body languages. Some others are victims of night clubs and party shows. In all, nobody pities a snake charmer bitten by a snake. Hence they are victims of rape
In countries like China, U.S.A and South Africa, rape cases are not taken for granted. In South Africa for example, any man caught in the act of rape is prosecuted, convicted and made to apologise before the South African women for abuse of their right. This is not the case in Nigeria; anything goes. Rape cases are rarely reported due to fear of stigmatization and shame. Even the few reported rapists are only subjected to long jail terms or made to languish in psychiatric homes; with little or no proactive involvements to inhibit future occurrences.

Consequently, the governments and other relevant institutions should make the penalty for rape more severe to serve as deterrent to other anticipating youths. Most importantly, our ladies should be bold and courageous enough to present themselves without any fear of stigmatization whenever there is an incidence of rape. Our ladies should also understand the fact that exposing their nak3dness is not just the best way to show beauty. Rather, that can be an easier way to portray madness. Our men on their part are advised to exercise some iota of control over their bodies. That a woman appears nak3d on the street is not a justifiable reason for anybody to misbehave. These will go a long way to sanitize our society, protect the right of the human person and restore the sanctity of s3xual intercourse which has been broken and violated.

Youth Challenges - What is Rape?

RAPE
Rape is the act of having a s£xual affair with someone through the use of force or violence without his or her consent. It is the act of having an undue advantage of one’s s3xual outfit without a consensus being reached with the party involved. Rape is a very barbaric act. It is an act of immaturity mostly carried out by men; even though there have been few cases of women raping men. Forcing a woman to bed depicts madness. It shows the degree of lack of self control most people have. Today, rape cases have taken a very bad and unfortunate dimension. It has lost its gravity before the law. It is unfortunate! it is a very big challenge among the youths today in the society.

In recent times, there has been an upsurge of cases of rape in our society; children, teenagers, young adults and the aged all being victims of this anathema. Rape offends the dignity of the human person and that of women in particular, by denying them the rights to self will. The Christian Holy Bible and the Moslem Quran all forbids rape in all ramifications. As aforementioned, raping a woman through the use of violence is a showcase of immaturity, senselessness and lack of spirit of discernment on the part of the much-talked-about rapists. It is not a crime to say that some husbands do rape their wives. This is true insofar as the definition of rape remains valid – a forceful or violent approach to sex. Many men abuse the so-called rights they have over their wives by forcing their way through, even when their wives admit not being disposed for s3x due to some reasons as stress, fatigue or ill-health.

Worse still, several cases of rape have been occurring in our universities. There have been different cases of multiple men attacking a single woman. Some girls have also lost their lives in some cases too. The university is majorly a collection of youths (boys and girls) at their “peak” of time. This should have been an avenue to crusade against this backdrop in human dignity. But the university is now a breeding ground for rapists and their victims. They go to the extent of making video clips of these rape scenes and uploading them on the internet for public view. This is scandal!
This is part one. continue with part two here.

Youth Challenges on in the society today (2)

This is actually a continuation of the the first part ofn this write-up. Read the first part here
The issue of s3x has posed a lot problem in the society. Sxx is a problem to a child. It is a problem to adults. To professionals in various fields, sex is a problem. Even to our numerous men and women of God (Priests, Bishops, Pastors, Evangelists, Overseers, Prophets, Prophetesses etc), s-x is also a problem. But to say that s-x is a problem to the youths is to indulge in wry understatement. They are the most vulnerable in this case study.

As aforementioned, the word sex, as used here is all-encompassing. It was used to capture all the various forms of scandalous abuses connected with the human sexuality. These include adultery, fornication, abortion, homosexuality (gay and lesbianism), masturbation, prostitution, incest, paedophilia, rape, beastialism, voyeurism, trans-sexualism etc. These and several other forms of s5xual misdemeanours are rampant among our twenty-first century youths; most of whom are deliberately practising them while a lot are languishing out of ignorance. No wonder Hosea lamented: “My people perish because of ignorance (Hosea 4:6).” For the sake of this journey i have embarked with you, we are going to highlight more on the areas on fornication, abortion, homosexuality, rape, masturbation and prostitution.
